To certify precision, LALI uses a lost-wax casting process to create its delicate, intricate jewelry designs. Our designers construct wax models and set them in a plaster-covered steel flask. The flask is then put inside a kiln, which allows the wax to burn. The "lost" image inside the flask is slowly filled with gold and soon after, our carefully selected gemstones are precisely hand-set as soon as the gold cools and hardens. The design process is completed with a finishing polish to ensure quality and brilliance.
